About

My name is Michael Persson, 26 years old, living in southern Sweden. I have worked with software testing for almost four years, and before that I’ve studied multimedia engineering. I’m currently looking for new challenges within the area of software testing and UX design.

After three years of software test experience in the cash handling industry, I am looking for new challenges. I have learned a lot in those past few years: How to conduct tests in different ways and also, that I have a way of thinking that makes testing natural to me.

I love using different methods to somehow create a more concrete picture of a software, than the mental model I create in my head. By using mind maps, drawings, flow diagrams, excel sheets, tables, user stories etc. I get a more clear picture of what has been tested and what needs to be done. I have also found out that it is easier to talk to other engineers around me when using those methods.

Since I am a calm, easy going, structured and a fact oriented person, I tend to investigate possible bugs thoroughly before presenting it to developers and creating issues. This just to make the solving process a bit easier for everyone.

I am really interested in all technical stuff, and I do not hesitate to try new things out, use them for real and evaluate them. I think it is interesting to hunt for those functional issues that might be present in a software, but I am also interested in possible user experience design problems. It does not matter if the product works really good from a technical point of view, if users do not understand how to use it!

Everything can always be done a little bit better than before, and I would really like to help out in that process!
